What is Monks Cellar?

...your guide to Europe’s hand-crafted wines.

We are an exclusive club that aims to introduce you to small production, hand-crafted wines from Europe.  Wines that are made by local farmers who are passionate about their land and that prize local character over mass appeal. The farmers will use sustainable farming practices, some will be organically certified while others will also use "biodynamic" practices.

Why?  Because in Europe there are a great number of high quality wines sold at great prices, that are either hard to find or just not available in the US.

Monks Cellar will share with you the family producers that focus on quality and value over trends, ratings and stardom.  What's more, many of the wines will come via exclusive contracts with little known producers, thus passing on amazing deals to you while expanding your wine drinking experience.

Through Monks Cellar you will learn about the history and traditions of the producers that make the wines.  We will have video journals, exclusive tasting opportunities with the winemakers, old family recipes, and much more.  All this to bring you closer to the winemakers and them to you.
